Apulian Wine Dinner with Randy Forrester and Dyane Lacerda!

Join us on Sunday March 2nd at 4pm as we welcome Randy Forrester (formerly of Radici in Portland) and Dyane Lacerda of Wicked Wines for an Apulian Wine Dinner. We will explore Apulian food and wine and the connections and influences between southern Italian food and wine with Greek food and wine. The 4 course dinner is $85 per person (tax and gratuity excluded) Reservations are required- please call the restaurant at 207-406-2847 to book your table. The menu is as follows:
1st- Crudu di Cappessante, Crema al Cine di Rape e Taralli- Scallop crudo, broccoli rabe puree, crushed Apulian crackers, citrus and olive oil- paired with Dell'Angelo "Torrefavale" Greco di Tufo Riserva
2nd- Orecchiette- ear-shaped pasta with local mussel and potato ragu- paired with Luigi Tecce Aglianico Rosato Calipso
3rd- Spiedini d'Agnello- grilled lamb, sweet pepper and bread skewers (2 condiments- Pea salsetta and sweetbread sugo) paired with- Li Veli Askos Susumaniello
Dessert- Rosata di Altamura- Almond and chocolate chip torta with preserved cherry marmellata- paired with La Canellese Crema Mandorla
